The Visual Arts program at Dandenong North Primary is made available to students from Foundation to Year 6. Each student has the opportunity to participate in Visual Art lessons for an hour per week, tailored to develop student creativity.

A progression of Art based skills and mediums are built upon throughout the 7-year levels and children are encouraged to explore their creativity through construction, painting, drawing, painting, sculpting, weaving, sewing and so much more. We aim to integrate thematic class units with Visual Arts elements, where students can transfer their knowledge from the mainstream classroom into weekly Art classes.
