Assessment & Reporting
Student School reports are sent home twice a year (June and December). These outline to parents about the academic growth of their child. Other assessments occur throughout the year to ensure curriculum planning is tailored to the needs of each individual student at Dandenong North Primary School.
In June, each year; parents, teachers and students (if they choose to attend) sit down to reflect on the child’s progress in the first half of the year as well discussing academic progress moving forward. These interviews are held over two separate nights. One for English-speaking parents and another night with interpreters for our non-English-speaking families.
Parents are also welcome at any time to discuss aspects of their child’s education with class teachers. We greatly value the home / school partnership and the role that it plays in the education of our students.
