Dear Parent/Guardian,
Dandenong North Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of its voluntary financial contributions for 2026.
Schools provide students with free instruction to meet the needs of the Victorian Curriculum and all contributions to enhance this education through student materials and opportunities, are voluntary. However, the ongoing financial support of our families ensures that our school continues to offer the best possible education and support for our students.
At DNPS voluntary financial contribution support has allowed us to purchase:
Student stationery supplies
Exercise books, headphones, pens, pencils, glue, coloured pencils, textas, coloured paper, reading diary.
Art room consumables
Coloured paper, paint, glue, collage paper, kinder squares, tissue paper, clay, plasticine, wire, tape, wool, matchsticks, thread, etc.
Sporting equipment
Various sporting balls, bats, bibs, hoops, skipping ropes, cones, and athletics equipment that support the implementation of high-quality Physical Education lessons and enable the borrowing of sporting equipment at play and lunch times.
Library Books & Take Home Readers
Purchasing of books for both our junior and senior library and class sets of books that are new and attractive without resorting to worn copies that are damaged from frequent reading.
Technology Equipment
Updating of iPads and laptops to support student learning.
For further information on the Department’s Parent Payments Policy, please see the one-page overview attached.
Thank you for your support.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Hilton
