Term 3 Remote Learning
We find ourselves again facing remote Learning 2.0 as the COVID 19 Pandemic sweeps across Victoria. Check out the following websites which students can access from home during remote learning.

The Year 5 students began the term with Paper packs – however they are now completing all of their tasks online – using the Adobe Spark Website.
EAL, Transition and New Arrival students are still working through paper packs – however they have access to online Webex meetings which allows them the opportunity to see and speak with the students in their grade.
These Webex meetings are important for all children to attend and we encourage you ensure that your child does not miss these opportunities.
It is important that children continue to have a daily routine – which includes emailing their classroom teacher in the morning to indicate their attendance, along with the completion of the set tasks. Children are also asked to continue with reading using either books they have borrowed from school, or through their daily access to epic.
Mr Fenby the PE teacher sends through physical activity tasks once daily and it is important that children continue to undertake movement tasks daily.
Once a week, children have to complete Art, ICT, Library and Mindfulness tasks – aimed at engaging children in their learning whilst at home.
The Year 5 SOSE theme is States of Matter which looks at chemical reactions using general kitchen items – for example vinegar and bicarbonate soda. They may be asked to undertake some experiments at home, so we hope that you can enjoy helping them out with these.
We can all work together to support our students development during this time.
Stay Safe and Keep on Learning!
