Covid-19: Important Update as of Sunday 22nd March

SCHOOL OPEN MONDAY 23rd MARCH Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that Term One school holidays will begin this Tuesday 24th March. It is really, really important that ALL children attend school tomorrow (MONDAY 23rd MARCH).

We usually like to start the week with an assembly that is motivational, inspiring and an opportunity that helps us to appreciate that we are a huge “family”. However, given the current situation with COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily discontinue large assemblies    

Booklist 2020

In 2020, the cost of your child’s books is $110 per student. Thank you to all the many families who have so promptly paid this booklist money to the office.  Just a reminder to all other families that you can pay this money at the office via cash or through our eftpos facilities.


The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) will provide payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. Families holding a valid concession card are eligible to apply. $125 per year is paid for eligible primary school students.  To download an application form click here.

SunSmart Term 1 Hats

We are a SunSmart school at Dandenong North Primary School. As outlined in our SunSmart policy we must ensure all students are protected from skin damage caused by the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun.

Student Absences

Please remember to call the school on 9794 7899 or email at to notify the school of your child’s absence early in the morning if your child is going to be away or late for school so that your child’s absence can be recorded correctly.


All Years 1 - 6 students at Dandenong North have access to Mathletics. Mathletics is an engaging mathematics learning resource that is highly supportive with learning tasks targeted to the Australian mathematics curriculum.
